Food, Wine & Olive Oil Tours and Cooking Classes
We have teamed up with a local small tour company, Discovering Umbria, to offer our guests very special food and wine tours and cooking classes, visiting some of the great culinary spots in close to Acquasparta in Umbria.
You can also book cooking courses. They are designed those who are simply passionate about good food and eating well and are conducted by local cooks. The course is based on the preparation of typical Umbrian staples and include making fresh pasta, pizza and traditional Italian dishes.
The tour company, Discovering Umbria, collaborates with small family-run wineries and olive oil mills and you are guaranteed to experience ‘artisan’ wine and oil production in Umbria.

Alessandra and Leonardo Mallozzi are sister and brother. They founded “Discovering Umbria” in 2006. They currently live and work in Todi, their home-town.

- Trade Agent professional qualification
- Councillor for the Comune di Todi and “Comunita’ Montana”- development and preservation of the natural environment of the territories of Todi and Orvieto (1998-2002)

Notes:
Courses may be arranged for individuals, for two people or a small group and may be requested at any time.
As part of our Food & Wine tours we can also arrange visits, accompanied by your local guides Alessandra and Leonardo to the markets and the local producers where you may purchase typical Umbrian specialities at a fair cost.
All tours start from Todi and are private, you will be driven to each place in a mini-bus. We can arrange for you to be collected from Casa Lilla at an extra cost of €30.00 per day (price for whole party).
All tours must be booked at least 1 month in advance, a deposit of 30% is due on booking confirmation and full balance is due on arrival at Casa Lilla.
