3 excursions to discover the wines, food and traditions of Umbria.
Day 1 – Cooking Class Home Cooking – 3 hours workshop
Umbrian Legumes with different legumes according to the Season. The workshop includes a tasting of the dishes prepared during the lesson, matching with local wines.
Day 2 – Ceramica Deruta
Half day visit to one of the oldest factories in the world, this factory has been under the same family direction for over 500 years consecutively. Afterwards you will have the opportunity to purchase the ceramica.
Day 3 - The Secrets of Wine in Todi
1 half day at a family-run vineyard in the countryside near Todi to learn the secrets of the vine cultivation and wine production of Grechetto di Todi DOC.
Visit to a family-run vineyard and wine tasting including:
- Grechetto di Todi DOC – white wine
- Sangiovese IGT – red wine
- Merlot IGT – red wine
- The wines are served in matching with a mix of cold cuts, bruschetta bread, local “pecorino” cheese, traditional flat bread with prosciutto.
